If you're building your own tooling container and include aws-sts-login, please ensure you rebuild the container if it was last built before March 30, 2025.
As of that date, the aws-sts-login binary includes a feature that prints a warning to stdout when AWS_ROLE_ARN is used.
Due to differences in how the AWS SDK handles pod-attached roles, using AWS_ROLE_ARN can cause job failures when aws-sts-login is used.
To prevent issues, replace AWS_ROLE_ARN with AWS_ASSUME_ROLE_ARN in your pipelines. more see #gitlab-ci
